My great adventure & travelling

On Wednesday we visited Brazil, so we had to create our own masques to be able to go to the famous Rio carnival. On   Thursday we explored Kenya and made traditional African necklaces from pasta. Today we made binoculars to be able to observe the wild animals we learnt about yesterday.

Going on adventures

On Wednesday we went as a group into the forest on a scavenger hunt to find clues about training dragons, linking to the theme earlier in the week about dragons. The children were put in groups and had to find 8 clues about dragons. At the end they did a performance on how to train a dragon.

On thursday as the weather was nice we walked to the pool and the children played games.

On friday the children painted their dragons eggs and played games. In the afternoon we all watched a film in english to relax!

My great adventure

This week we decided to combine two topics: My great adventure and Passport to the world as both of them include travelling and getting to know the world. On Monday we studied about our home countries (the Basque country and England). We even created our own passports to be able to travel! Today we focused on Asia. First we painted a dragon and learnt his body parts and then we practised some judo animal movements. We also tried origami and colored in Pikachu.

Going on a adventure

This week we have been learning about going on an adventure and dragons. We have been making dragon eggs out of paper mache and we watched some of the film ´How to train your dragon´.

We also did the story of ´we are going on a bear hunt´.

We made binoculars which we will take on an adventure in the forest.
