Today we learnt about the weather, through talking about the weather, playing games and by doing painting, crafts and colouring.  We made a rewards tree and went outside to collect leaves to put on it. We also talked about clothes and dressed the dolls based on different weather conditions. We also looked about how the weather changes and we made a weather station to discuss the daily weather forecast. 

So far from Animals week, we have learnt the names of animals and where they live, played games like Chinese whispers to revise the animal vocabulary, made animal masks, drawn pictures of animals that we like and animals that we do not like as well as other things. On Thursday, we watched 64 Zoo Lane, an English programme which tells various stories involving animals as well as going out to feed the birds in the Square. It has been a very good week so far!

On thursday we learnt about foods from around the world and tried weird combinations of foods. On friday we revised what we had learnt throughout the week, as well as doing some drawing and acting out a scene in a restaurant.
