Getting Creative

This week, we are learning about co-operative olympics.

We watched some highlights from previous olympic games and paralympics games.

We then started to make our own olympic torches, which is used to light up a cauldron in the opening ceremony. This cauldron stays alight throughout the entire olympic games until the closing ceemony, when it is extinguished.

We also made flags that we would use to represent us on Friday. Some of were inspired by real flags, such as the Basque Country flag and the American flag while some of us go creative and created our own flags!

We made medals for ourselves as well. We did this by using paint, which was very fun! We were able to mix the colours together to create new ones if we wanted to!
