After a wonderful week last week we have welcomed everyone back for our second week of the Enjoy English programme. This weeks topic of the week is We Are Artists! All through the week the kids will be exploring colours, art, handcrafts and famous artists. So far this week the kids have revised vocabulary to do with the colours aswell as creating a colour wheel, and a rainbow in a jar which the kids really enjoyed. Today I introduced the kids to some work of famous artists such as Monet, Da Vinci, Van Gogh and Piet Mondrain. We then created our own art work based on the creations of both Monet and Mondrain, using different mediums inculding paint, tape and crepe paper, all of which will be kept and shown at our end of week exhibition on Friday.
